More Information

Me and
My Family...

My Youth

I was Born and raised in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Our family lived on a large house boat in the Amsterdam Harbor since my Dad was Harbor Master. I graduated from Technecal College as a Computer Programer.

The Olympic Games

In my youth it was recommended that I take up swimming so I joined a swim team. The results were amazing, climacting by being on the Netherland 1960 Olympic team. Woow! The Olympics are breath taking.

I Immigrated to the USA in 1964

What a site, entering New York Harbor. The Flight across this vast Country to Washington State was breath taking for me coming from a country that's one thrid the size of the state of Washington.

John and I Meet

I met my husband John, here in the Great Northwest. We were married in 1967. We have two children, Michael and Melanie. Having had his own career John is now assisting me in mine.

Son, Michael, the oldest

Michael, his wife Lisa, daughter Taylor and son Jacob live in California. We look for great things from our grandchildren with their Dad having been a professional soccer player and their mother a professional tennis player. At present the kids adapt to the sport of the season.

Daughter, Melanie

Melanie lives in Maple Valley, Washington with her sons Trent and Yoseph. Her 2 boys, her singing talent and job managing the Enumclaw Circle K keeps her plenty busy. Trent will be entering 1st grade and Yo will start his 2nd year of preschool in the 2009/2010 school year. Both boys are in introductory sports and activities. Melanie enjoys being back in the Kent area where so many of her friends are, while she misses the friends she made while in Arizona.
